Elan has developed the Calcium Chew chewable tablets and the Calcium Vital tablets specifically for people with weight loss surgery to supplement your daily needs. Both the Calcium Chew chewable tablets and the Calcium Vital tablets contain calcium citrate, as this form of calcium is well absorbed by your body. In addition, vitamin D3 has been added to the Calcium Chew chewable tablets and the Calcium Vital tablets, as this increases calcium absorption in your bones. Calcium and vitamin D3 contribute to the maintenance of strong bones and teeth. The sample pack contains 2 Calcium Chew chewable tablets and 2 Calcium Vital tablets. The required amount of calcium depends on your surgery.
